About Bacteriostatic Water
Most peptides arrive as a dry, freeze-dried cake and need a liquid before they can be worked with. Bacteriostatic water is the usual choice: sterile, purified water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added. That small amount of benzyl alcohol slows the growth of bacteria, which is why an opened vial can be used across several sessions instead of just once.
