About Snap-8
Snap-8, known in ingredient lists as acetyl octapeptide-3, is a familiar name in the skincare world. It is modelled on part of SNAP-25, a protein that helps nerve endings pass on the signal for a muscle to contract. By interfering with that step, Snap-8 is studied for softening the repeated small contractions that deepen expression lines around the eyes and forehead.
